Adopt a Flock of Ducks - You Could Win a Prize!
Flocks of rubber ducks are ready to race for exciting prizes at the Rubber Duck Regatta on September 9th. Get in on the action by adopting a flock or more of ducks - if your duck wins a race, you win a prize!
Plan to join us at the 11th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta for an afternoon of family games, goodies and live entertainment. This year's Regatta takes place on Sunday, September 9th from noon to 4:30 p.m. at Riverfront Park in south Billings (map). (You need not be present at the Regatta to win a prize - but we hope to see you there!)
You can adopt one duck for $5 or a flock of six ducks for $25. Ducks can be adopted by mail or online. You can adopt any number of ducks by mail, but only flocks of six can be adopted online.
To adopt individual ducks or a flock by mail, please send a check for the correct amount and write "Rubber Ducks" on the memo line. Mail your check to:

Our Mission
The primary mission of Big Sky Senior Services is to enhance the independence and quality of life for the elderly population and developmentally disabled adults, regardless of their ability to pay
Our Values
We believe that every American has the right to live independently, safely and free from abuse.
Our Programs
Senior Helping Hands (SHH) was started in 1977 to respond to the need for in-home services for elders in south central Montana. Today, Senior Helping Hands provides home care and homemaking services to over 100 seniors in Yellowstone, Stillwater and Carbon counties.
Prevention of Elder Abuse (BSPEA) has pioneered innovative and comprehensive abuse prevention services since its founding in 1992. We were the first organization in the United States to conduct Gatekeeper training, which teaches community volunteers such as bank tellers, meter readers and mail carriers to spot and report possible elder abuse. Today, we provide information and assistance, abuse investigation, case management and financial payee services to elders and disabled adults throughout south central Montana.
Friends Volunteer Program is the only program in the Billings area that provides phone and friendly visitor support for elders. Many seniors receive either daily phone calls or weekly visits from volunteer friends. Phone buddies and friendly visitors help isolated elders live independently at home while staying connected to the community.
In June 2005, these three programs merged to become Big Sky Senior Services. Our new agency offers comprehensive support services to elders and developmentally disabled adults, from homemaking to case management to daily phone support. Our combined staff will continue to help elders maintain their independence and quality of life.
